Standard Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers 

1. Duration: Our standard warranty covers auto parts upto 2 years from the date of purchase.
2. Mileage: There is no mileage restriction on our standard warranty.
3. Parts Covered: This warranty applies to all mechanical parts sold by Car Engine Guru, including engines and transmissions.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

To maintain warranty coverage, the following conditions must be kept in mind:

1. The part must be installed by a licensed mechanic or in accordance with industry-standard practices.
2. The vehicle must be used under normal operating conditions as specified in the owner’s manual.
3. Regular maintenance must be performed as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
4. Any issues must be reported to CarEngineGuru.com within the warranty period.

What’s Covered?

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. If a covered part fails due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we make sure to cover certain defects in material and workmanship under the circumstances of normal usage and service. In case the covered part fails because of manufacturing defect, within the warranty period then in that case, we will make sure to repair the part at no cost. Either replace the part with a new reconditioned part of greater value or, refund the purchase price of the part.

Exclusions

The following are not covered under this warranty:

1. Damage that is the result of misuse, abuse or wrong installation
2. Any sort of alteration or modification done to the original part
3. Any sort of damage, that is the result of natural disaster, accident or any other environmental factor
4. Any type of damage that is the result of failure of the part
5. Cost of toing, unless and until it is specified in the extended warranty agreement

How to Claim

To initiate a warranty claim kindly follow these steps:

1. Contact our customer service department within the warranty period.
2. Provide proof of purchase and installation (if applicable).
3. Describe the issue in detail and provide any relevant documentation or photographs.
4. If required, return the part to Car Engine Guru for inspection (shipping costs may apply).

Processing of Claims

Upon receiving the request from our customer, we will make sure to review it within 5-7 business days. If the request gets approved we will refund the agreed amount within 10 business days. Whereas, in the case of any dispute( if it arises), then e reserve all the rights to get the part inspected by third party expert.

Core Charge and Returns

To avail the refund of core charges, it must be returned within15 days of purchase. Moreover, the core should be returned in the same condition as it was removed from the vehicle, without causing any additional damages. If you return us the old part, in that case the amount charged as core charge will be refunded from our side. Whereas, if you fail to do so, in that case you have two options, 1st is to make the payment of $200 and the second is to forgo the amount deposited along with the amount of purchased part as core charge.

Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the part.

Limitation of Liability

In this warranty we claim to cover any sort of liability limited to purchase price of the auto part. Hence, we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must make sure to use the part as intended and follow proper maintenance schedules. Keeping all the receipt and purchase related documents, along with the documents of installation is of utmost importance. In case you come across any sort of issue with your purchased part, make sure to reach out to Car Engine Guru as soon as possible.

Disputes and Governing Law

In case any dispute emerges between the customer and Car Engine Guru with respect to this warranty then, in that case it will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of state.

Amendments

Car Engine Guru has got all the reserves, to amend these terms and conditions at any point of time. Any changes, if processed will be done from our end on our website, and will apply to purchases made after the posting date.

By purchasing an auto part from us, you acknowledge that you have gone through all the terms and conditions. Moreover, you agree upon all the points listed.
