Standard Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers:

1. Duration: Our standard warranty covers auto parts up to 90 days from the date of purchase.
2. Mileage: There is no mileage restriction on our standard warranty.
3. Parts Covered: This warranty applies to all mechanical parts sold by Car Engine Guru, including engines, used transmission, and customers purchasing used transmissions with warranty.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

To maintain warranty coverage, the following conditions must be kept in mind:

1. The part must be installed by a licensed mechanic or in accordance with industry-standard practices.
2. The vehicle must be used under normal operating conditions as specified in the owner’s manual.
3. Regular maintenance must be performed as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
4. Any issues must be reported to CarEngineGuru.com within the warranty period.

What’s Covered?

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. If a covered part fails due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we make sure to cover certain defects in material and workmanship under the circumstances of normal usage and service. In case the covered part fails because of manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will either repair the part at no cost, replace it with a new or reconditioned part of equal or greater value, or refund the purchase price of the part. This coverage also applies to eligible used engines with warranty and other qualifying automotive components.

Exclusions

The following are not covered under this warranty:

1. Damage that is the result of misuse, abuse, or incorrect installation.
2. Any alteration or modification made to the original part.
3. Damage resulting from natural disasters, accidents, or environmental factors.
4. Any damage that occurs due to failure of another part.
5. Cost of towing unless specifically included in an extended warranty agreement.

How to Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, kindly follow these steps:

1. Contact our customer service department within the warranty period.
2. Provide proof of purchase and installation (if applicable).
3. Describe the issue in detail and provide any relevant documentation or photographs.
4. If required, return the part to Car Engine Guru for inspection (shipping costs may apply).

Processing of Claims

Upon receiving your request, we will review it within 5–7 business days. If the claim is approved, we will refund the agreed amount within 10 business days. In the event of a dispute, we reserve the right to have the part inspected by an independent third-party expert.

Core Charge and Returns

To receive a refund for the core charge, the original core must be returned within 15 days of purchase. It should be returned in the same condition in which it was removed from the vehicle without any additional damage. If the core is returned as required, the core charge will be refunded. If it is not returned, you may either pay the applicable $200 core charge or forfeit the deposited core amount.

Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the part.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the auto part. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the part.

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must use the part as intended and follow the recommended maintenance schedule. Keep all purchase receipts and installation documents for future reference. Customers purchasing used transmissions with warranty should also retain all related documentation to help process claims quickly.

Disputes and Governing Law

In case any dispute arises between the customer and Car Engine Guru regarding this warranty, it will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the applicable state laws.

Amendments

Car Engine Guru reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and will apply only to purchases made after the effective posting date.
